Come raft up with Tyee for Opening Day festivities - if you've done this before you know how much fun we have, and it you haven't yet joined us NOW IS THE TIME!!  Please help me achieve my goal of 15 Tyee boats!

We raft up on the Arboretum side of Union Bay - we shore tie our bows to the north side of Marsh Island.  

Raft-up begins on Wednesday 4/29 at 12noon and you will stay on the yacht club "boom" until the parade ends on Saturday, 5/2. You will be given a time to arrive (based upon your size) on Wednesday and a team of expert rafters and dinghy ninja-captains will help you get your boat in place. Once we're all set (~2 hours) our Opening Day festivities begin!  Its customary for captains/mates to stay on there vessel during the day/evenings.  As some folks have to leave for work for the day, the boat captains and cruise coordinator will coordinate to ensure we never leave an unattended raft up.

There are docktails, potlucks, chili dinners . . .oh my!!!  And then on Saturday you'll have a front row seat to the Windermere Cup, decorated boat parade and officers boat parade (we need your loudest cheers for Tyee!!!). 

Immediately following the parade the dinghy ninja-captains will come back to the raft up-up and help us weigh the stern anchors and disconnect the shore tie's so we can break up in an organized fashion.  And then its off to the Steak Fry!!!
